THE Role

Fama is looking for a rockstar Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing sales team. BDR’s work closely with our marketing team and sales executives to help identify, engage, and qualify potential business opportunities through multiple channels. The ideal candidate will be focused on creative problem solving with a data driven strategy. You’ll work hand in hand with an experienced team of seasoned startup leaders to help improve the quality and volume of inbound leads while also helping improve our overall sales engagement strategy.

In this role, you’ll be expected to create compelling and targeted outreach campaigns that focus on the value we can provide to large, recognizable brand names. This is not a “dial for dollars” position, but instead requires a thoughtful approach that puts problem-solving at the center of each conversation. At the end of the day, we’ll look to you as the tip of the spear for Fama that will help us generate qualified introductory conversation with enterprise clients, while maintaining a focus on increasing ACV and MRR.

All applicants will have:

  • 1-3 years of sales development experience

  • Strong Will-to-Win ("Make It Happen" attitude)

  • Attention to detail (Written & Verbal)

  • An understanding of what influences interest and buying behavior

  • Ability to collaborate across Sales & Marketing teams

  • Willingness to learn and iterate on the sales process

Stand-out applicants will have:

  • Background in business strategy, specifically in fast-moving, start-up environments

  • Understanding of enterprise-size organizations and their buying behavior
